There are loads of ways you can support the group, each of these things go into making the group work,
below it, are a number of specific roles we could use help with.

In Scouts we periodically receive people registering their young peoples interest in joining the group,
We need someone who can manage that initial conversation with parents, give them a feel for the journey, send them the links they need to get their young peoples OSM accounts set up, and to let the leaders know who's in the queue
Through their time with us, most young people will; Start as Beavers, Swim up to Cubs, then Move up to Scouts.
We need someone who can check to see who is nearly ready to move up, check in with leaders to see what space is available and communicate that with the parents
At the end of their time with us, Scouts have the opportunity to move onto Explorers, there are a number of Explorer groups across Winchester that run at different locations on different nights.
We need someone who can check in with the Explorer groups to check availability and discuss that with parents
For the most part, Scouting happens early evening on the weekdays,
which means there is an opportunity for others to use the space.
Periodically we receive requests from other Groups, looking to use the Hut, either for day events or over night, we also occasionally have members of the public looking to book the Hut out for Parties or other occasions.
We need someone to; respond to initial enquiries, discuss payments with the group treasurer and discuss with the leaders when the hall is going to be occupied.
A key part in Scouting is the young people achieving their badges, each group has a unique set of badges that we assign, order and hand out
We need someone who can track the stock levels of the badges using the OSM stock manager, Order and collect badges from our District Badge Secretary, and get them to Leaders so we can get them out to the Young People
